[Pexers Write-Ups] Kim Hyun Joong – Kpop Idol Once More
After a brief hiatus of almost two months after the splashy, well drumbeated Inspiring Generation drama ended, its critically acclaimed rediscovered actor is now beginning to make his appearances.Recorded interviews trailed him as well as its thematic analyses made its rounds, Expectations that he would be in talk shows did not materialize. Instead of him coming to them, they came to him.
Inspiring generation, though showed its finale episode in the small screen (Television as movies are the big screen) of South Korea and in online sites. the drama will now start making its roll in other countries.
It is good to disappear from the media with only some hints and tweets from fans in the know as it stimulates cravings from Kim Hyun Joong’s public. One can smell, so to speak, what’s cooking though not seeing yet the dish.
So at last he is videoed and pictures taken in what better venue than the airport on his way to promoting the drama to Japan sporting a non-monochromatic dyed blonde hair with slight bangs across his forehead with an unmistakably celebrity sunglasses with a hint of a mustache. The Kim Hyun Joong form complemented by black tunic and white underneath outfit.
Now he is dual persona promoting his recent drama and by sporting his “new hair” his album Hot Sun and forthcoming World Tour.
Is this Kim Hyun Joong’s last hurrah as Kpop idol? By definition, according to Wikipedia and various print media, Kpop idols are those young, popular, good looking, well trained entertainers whose fan base are found in many areas of the world.
Kim Hyun Joong is aging out as he nears thirty and has accumulated a decade in showbiz by 2015, but he is extremely popular, good looking need not be said anymore, his skills in presenting himself into stage speaks for itself. Like other Kpop idols he has stepped successfully into the acting field.
His military service is just around the corner as his contemporaries, if they have not gone ahead of him. It is a fact to factor in a male celebrity’s life and is a test how well he will be remembered and welcomed back once it is over in two years time or even less.
But going back to being Kpop idol could be considered a well timed and planned schedule of his career -a turn around, a passage likened to music, it is an end but only to return to a previous section. It will also mark a milestone as he expands beyond his “usual” concert route.
His best turn around, he himself often said, he has received much love it is time to return that love with his hard work and passion in music.
(additional note-KHJ performed at his Japan fanmeets days ago three songs including As Time Passes Inspiring Generation OST and a dance number for Your Story. No doubt he showed he’s got the form and substance of being an idol.)
