The leading Korean singer and actor is all set to delight Thai fans at his upcoming concert.
A veteran of Thailand’s entertainment circle, actor Kate Thunthup, 38, is spreading his wings and embracing the Thai love of everything hallyu by bringing one of K-pop’s much-loved stars to Thailand.
Kate’s new company, T-Group Holding (Thailand), which he runs with his wife, Tuksaya “Nat” Teeyanardtanancha, is behind the upcoming concert by Kim Hyun Joong, leader and rapper with boy band SS501 and one of the 2009 Korean hit drama “Boys Over Flowers”. Kim will be at Thunder Dome, Muang Thong Thani, on August 24 as part of his world tour.
“The world tour is much more exciting than his Asia tour fan meeting concert two years ago, It’s a full-scale show with spectacular production, impressive lighting and a perfect sound system. So, don’t miss this concert,” says Kate.

Since stopping in Thailand back in 2012, Kim has been busy recording albums and starring in dramas. His world tour takes in seven countries, among them Mexico and Peru, and 11 different cities, doesn’t only attract his fans in Asia. He is currently starring in “Inspiring Generation”, depicts the loves, friendships and patriotism of young Korean independence fighters in 1930s Shanghai.
Kim is well known for his role as Yoon Ji-hoo in “Boys Over Flowers”, for which he received the Popularity Award at the Seoul International Drama Awards 2009 and was also recognised at the 45th Baeksang Arts Awards. The Korean talent rose to stardom.
He also starred in “Playful Kiss”.
As a singer, Kim Hyun Joong is known for his remarkable voice and dynamic dance moves.
